Punctuation

Punctuation
From groan and moan to bleachèd bone.
From lust and thrust to ashen dust.
From womb and bloom to stagnant tomb.
From birth and mirth to breathless dearth.
From kiss and bliss to Stygian Dis.
From start and heart we all must part.

If there is "no one home in the universe" (we are castaways on planet earth without a God to love and communicate with) then Buddhism is a reasonable palliative care alternative to ease the pain of that. But Buddhism also comes as a religion with several versions, each with their own set of hoops to jump through.
